A late 1800's to early 1900's piece with an acid etched ball shade. The fixture is solid brass and copper and has been polished to bring out its beauty. It has been left unlacquered so that you can decide to have it patina over time if you like.
If you want to keep the shine, simply apply a coat of spray-on lacquer. The antique glass shade is acid etched and has no chips or cracks - just some normal little marks in the frosted finish here and there, and some "imperfections" from the original glass-making process, which adds to its antique personality.
The fixture uses one standard-base short-stature light bulb up to 60 watts (or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like). The light bulb is not included. Total height including the glass shade and the ceiling mount canopy: 22 1/2. Diameter of glass shade: 5. Shade height: approximately 4 1/2 showing. You're going to LOVE it!
