This antique Dutch tobacco box is a rare find, it was made in the mid-1700s, and features a lightly polished brass finish and primitive engraving of a couple, on top and bottom. This box is made of hammered sheet brass andIt is speculated to have originated from the Netherlands and is circa 1760. This nice piece is perfect for any collector of Continental brass boxes or a lover of antique tobacco boxes and smoking items. Condition: good with some slight denting on the bottom. The top retains a nice patina; the base is lightly polished.
