A hard to find 6 inch diameter lamp shade / globe fitter made of stamped brass and includes a vented internal removable plate inside the fitter for seating the globe. A beautiful original antique fitter supposedly removed from an old building in Pittsburgh, PA. The fitter is free of any noted damage or repairs and has been professionally polished, but not clear coated. The porcelain standard size socket was inspected and rewired. The new threaded 3/8 lamp pipe was added. It measures approximately 6 in. The end against the ceiling is 8 in. A beautiful seldom seen large size fitter.
