Fine pair of 16 antique Art Nouveau polished brass door handles / pulls, c. 1900

  

A lovely quality pair of English Art Nouveau door handles / pulls. They are very imposing and stand just over 16 tall and will make an eye-catching statement upon a pair of period doors. These handles have very shapely grab handles with strong styling indicative of the Art Nouveau period, mounted upon good strong backplates. If in doubt consult a carpenter or competent handyman. Each backplate has 5 fixing holes for countersunk screws.

For installation, shallow divots will need to be drilled in the surface of the doors (two per handle) to accommodate the fixing threads and securing nuts which attach the pull handles to the rear of the backplates. The handles have recently been professionally and carefully cleaned. The rear of the handles have genuine antique colour and tarnish. Ten brass countersunk screws will be required for installation. Height: 41.6 cm (16-3/8).
