An antique French Louis Philippe style "buffet a deux corps", a lower buffet with an upper display case. Fruitwood with brass hardware, crown molding & a decorative carved frieze at top, ogee edge to the lower buffet top with clipped corners, and carved bracket front feet.
Upper cabinet features six adjustable wood shelves behind dual smaller side single-pane glass doors separated by a center larger single-pane glass door, all lockable. Lower cabinet features two drawers of pin joinery with faux keyhole escutcheons and a faux keyhole escutcheon between them, over two lockable solid doors revealing a storage area with one fixed wood shelf.
Likely made in France, in the 19th Century. Overall: 57w 21d 79h, Base Buffet Only: 40h. Excellent antique condition consistent with age and normal previous use. Doors, drawers, and locks function properly.
