This is vintage Soviet watch Vostok with a high precision movement. It was produced in USSR in 1962 at the Chistopol Watch Factory. The caseback has got a dedicatory inscription made in 1962. The movement caliber is Vostok 2809, it contains 22 ruby jewels. This model was grabbed by Soviet engineers from Swiss Zenith 135 (please see last image to compare them).
The movement is mechanical and needs to be wound once a day. The watch is in used condition and has got some signs of use. It runs well and keeps time accurately as it has been serviced (cleaned, lubricated and calibrated) by a professional watchmaker.
The watch has been serviced by a professional watchmaker. All parts tested for wear. Broken ones have been replaced with good parts.
All parts washed up in gasoline. The movement was put whole, then lubricated and calibrated. The case was polished up. A new crystal was set up.Comes with a new leather strap. Case size (lug to lug) - 42.5 mm. The crown - 36 mm.
